Tampa Bay = Love

So I've spent the last month living in Florida. I went to Orlando and Tampa Bay to do some work with my Mom and basically fell in love. I fell in love with the sun, with the wildlife, and with the Cypress trees. I always thought of Florida as a hot, disgusting state. All I see when I hear Florida are sun baked women and car salesmen. As usual, I was wrong. Florida was breathtaking. Yes, I spent most of my time indoors selling jewelry, but the time spent outside was remarkable.

If you know me at all you know how much I love trees. They give me joy. I have always thought that the trees in the Smokies were my favorite, but after much debate I have come to the decision that none hold a place in my heart like the cypress. They are amazing to look at, daydream about, and photograph. They are easily the most romantic trees I have ever laid eyes upon. They make me want to write a book about two lovers in the south who can't help but carve their name upon them. Ok, that's enough carrying on. I love them.

Here in a much needed blog update of my month in Florida.
